Service Terminology

  • Coaching in business is no different to that of a Sports Coach. It involves strategy and operational instruction including demonstrating different approaches to delivery and improving collective performance.
  • Mentoring is very similar to Coaching although it is often delivered through discussions one to one and improving the individual performance imparting knowledge. A mentor is someone who can be used as a sounding board or challenge to a new business idea.
  • Consultancy is more "doing" actions agreed, i.e. where a task is identified and assigned to Kingscavil Associates to complete. This is typically based on skills and experience.
  • Organisational Development is the wider upskilling and managing the staff in terms of collective delivery. Better skills and training leading to less failures and improved delivery.
