Management Controls
Management controls are the processes and procedures that deliver good governance.
Governance is obviously the series of processes, systems and practices that the organisation undertakes to demonstrate that decisions are thought through and appropriate. Processes can involve documents and meetings but most typically will be a combination of both. Systems typically will by the use of technology (IT) and filing and storing information so it can be easily accessed and used. Practices are ensuring you are carrying out the defined processes and systems to achieve governance controls.
